You might not know it, but there are new heroes in town.

They don't wear capes.

In fact, they wear gym kit and their super power is to challenge themselves to their physical and mental limits to raise money for mental health charities.

Who cares about the Avengers anymore, uh?

We are not trying to be controversial but we are tired of people talking about mental health awareness... awareness has been raised, now let's help these Heroes do something about it.

We have decided to support them and to give them some extra help. because all Heroes have a little secret.

What about you, Are you UP for it?

Read below about out heroes, how to support them and how to help them raise money for charity...and maybe get a cheeky workout in?

Meet our heroes

HERO: JOE, 23

SUPERPOWER: TRAINLINE CHALLENGE FOR MOVEMBER

Bristol born Joe Stokes is an ex professional footballer player. Now a fitness coach, his goal is to make sure people around him enjoy sport and activity as much as he does. Joe has challenged himself physically multiple times, but this year he will be facing his biggest challenge yet: he will take part in the Trainline Challenge and, as he does every year, he will donate all the money raised to Movember.

Over the 20th and 21st of November, Joe will cycle 200 miles and run 60 miles: he is aware of how mentally challenging this race is going to be but that is what is keeping him motivated.

He wants to prove to others that even when you think you have hit rock bottom - you must carry on going and that you are not alone. This challenge is not about individual excellence, it is about bringing people together and showing how important human interaction is to get us through tough times.

All money raised will be donated to Movember which is a charity for men's  health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.

HERO: TARA-LEE, 33

SUPERPOWER: SWEAT CLASS AT ONELDN FOR CALM

Tara-Lee (aka "TL") is a fitness enthusiast. Born in South Africa, she grew up in Ireland and has now been living in London for 4 years.

Growing up, TL wanted to be a TV presenter but she could not be awkward in front of a camera (that's what she said to us but we do not quite believe her!), so luckily she found her way into the fitness industry. She now coaches CrossFit and Olympic weightlifting as well as Battle Cancer Program, a charity that helps people rehabilitation after cancer treatment.

TL is a firm believer that fitness is for absolutely everyone and is passionate about getting people moving. She is high energy and incredibly motivational, this is why we have teamed up with her to host a FUN sweat session at OneLdn on 21st November @10am-12pm. All profits will go to CALM.

Each participant will receive a goodie bag to take home - come and get sweaty with us to raise money for charity!
