Why is Vitamin B essential?

  • B3 (niacin) – helps the metabolism and DNA production + repair 
  • B5 (pantothenic acid) – helps regulate hormone levels and helps get energy from food 
  • B6 (pyridoxine) – helps red blood cell production 
  • B7 (biotin) – helps regulate gene expression and essential for metabolism 
  • B9 (folate) – helps cell growth, the formation or red and white blood cells and proper cell division 
  • B12 (cobalamin) – helps neurological function, DNA production and the development of red blood cells. B12 is the mostwell known of all the B vitamins.
